EHS Process Specialist
Education
BS Degree
or a minimum of 1 (one) to 3 (three) years related EHS experience in
manufacturing and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
with an emphasis in occupational safety, environmental science or a closely
related field.
Skills/Experience
- 4+ years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous process/continuous improvement experience is required
- Expert ability to enforce company policies and procedures including safety as well as employee discipline and documentation.
- Expert Ethical conduct
- Knowledge of all federal, state, and local EHS regulatory standards in a manufacturing setting, including loss control practices. (intermediate)
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills including professional phone and email etiquette. (expert)
- Must be task oriented with strong sense of priority and ability to manage multiple tasks. (expert)
- Expert problem solver.
- Must have excellent organizational skills. (intermediate)
- Previous experience in a metric driven, low volume/high mix, fast-paced manufacturing environment. (intermediate)
- Ability to adapt to unfamiliar systems and situations with minimal review/supervision while interacting with the customer. (intermediate)
- Practical understanding of Lean business practices and Continuous Improvement process implementation. (basic)
Travel
Employee must be able to travel 10% of the time (domestic and international).
