Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Engineering or related science from a college or university; 5 years of leadership experience; and 8 to 10 years related functional experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Advanced degree in Manufacturing/Engineering or an MBA is a distinct advantage


Skills/Experience

•Accurately assess businesses from a “general manager’s” point of view and set priorities for improvement

•Ability to design, develop and execute lean business system roadmaps for Segment

•Demonstrated knowledge leading multiple complex projects simultaneously

•Ability to design, develop and measure Key Performance Indicators that tie to a segment’s strategy

•Demonstrated knowledge of, and familiarity with, a variety of TPS/Lean Sigma tools including but are not limited to: VSM, Standard Work, Pull Systems & Kanban, SIOP, Daily Management, 5S/Visual Management, 3P, SMED, TPM, Transactional Process Improvement, Variation Reduction Kaizen & Six Sigma, etc…. Black Belt certification is desirable but not required

•Demonstrated knowledge of, and familiarity with, a variety of Growth tools including but are not limited to: VOC, Sales Funnel, Value Selling, Value Pricing, Advanced New Product Introduction, Product Life- Cycle Management, etc.

•Computer Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office required


Travel

•Employee must be able to travel 50% of the time both domestically and internationally
