Job requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Science, or a directly related field plus six (6) years of experience in Chemical Plant Engineering. Experience must include:
Four (4) years in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):Typical engineering, procurement, quality control, installation, commissioning, and start up processes
Process system engineering including PFD, P & ID, participating in process hazard analysis (Hazzop)
Process equipment, rotating equipment (including compressor, blower, fan, pump), heat exchangers, and filters
Working with U.S. Customary system (inches), SI system (Metric), and ANSI engineering and drafting standards
Use of inspection tools including dial caliper and tape measure, as well as mechanical and electronic tools used in assembly/disassembly and test of the equipment
Applying Electrical and OSHA safety standards and Hazardous Area code
Working with design control, document control and non-conforming product
Two (2) years in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
Working with plastics processing, pneumatic conveying, feeding and extrusion systems
Utilizing any of the following ERP systems: QAD, SAP, Navision or Oracle
Utilizing 3D CAD viewers, 3D plant design review software
One (1) year in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
Utilizing Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, MS ProjectThe Employer will accept Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Science or a directly related field plus four (4) years of experience.
