Quality Engineer
Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. the incumbent should have a minimum of one (3) years of experience in an ISO 9000 environment.
- Must be proficient in using various quality tools and techniques such as: DOE, FMEA, MSA, PDCA, RCA, SPC, 8-D.
- Good knowledge on GD&T. Experience with SAP or an ERP is preferred.
- The incumbent should have advanced skills in Advanced Excel, Power Point and be a certified ISO auditor.
- Familiar with computer-controlled inspection tools (CMM, Projector, Round test) and manual tools (Micrometers, Vernier, plug gauges, etc.) is would be an asset.
The Quality Engineer will implement various components of a quality control program comprised of data analysis, systems evaluation, product assessment and quality technology. They will document quality issues and performance measures for management review.
A strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment and excellent organizational skills are required. The ability to write routine reports and to communicate effectively with co-workers, management and possibly external suppliers is a requirement. Strong mathematical capabilities, including probability, statistical inference, plane geometry, solid geometry and trigonometry are necessary. A mechanical aptitude, ability to apply common sense and problem solving involving several concrete variables in standardized situations is required.
Education:
The incumbent of this role MUST have a University Degree in Engineering.
