Project Engineer
Skills/Experience:
- General knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with personal computer, various software
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to be responsive to schedule changes
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Various technical and measuring tools and their use
- Working knowledge of the Electrical and EMI code, OSHA and CE
safety standards, and knowledge of K-Tron's mechanical and electrical
equipment
- Working knowledge of Hazardous areas code
- Experience with power transmission, stress analysis,
metallurgy, plastics, electronics, and various engineering calculations
(center of gravity, moment of inertia, torque analysis) is a Plus
- Knowledge of U.S. Customary system (inches) and SI system
(Metric), various ANSI and ISO Engineering and drafting standards
- General knowledge of ISO 9001 standards; detail knowledge of
chapters Design control, Document control and Non-conforming product
- Knowledge of selling process and marketing techniques,
process control, weighing and bulk handling technology
Education:
- BS in Engineering – Mechanical or Electrical preferred
- Familiarity with German, French or Spanish language a plus
- 0 – 3 years of Project Engineering experience required
