Maintenance Technician Level II

Skills/Experience:

• Must have a minimum of Five (5) years maintenance experience in a machine shop or tool room, relating to CNC Machinery.  
• A working knowledge of electrical code specifications, schematics and computerized maintenance systems is required.
• The incumbent must possess good verbal and written skills.
• A strong understanding of computers and software (including machine diagnostics and CNC controls in maintenance mode) is required. Some mathematical capabilities, including rates, graphics, percentages and ratios are necessary
• Must have extensive experience with electrical/electronic or mechanical systems.
• Expert proficiency in mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatic concepts related to machine tools is strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot a variety of electrical/electronic/mechanical, repairs and preventative maintenance on plant equipment; may also perform electronic repairs on equipment controllers; respond and prioritize maintenance requests; maintain tools and physical inventories; dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals; coordinates new installations of fixtures, motors, and other electrical equipment.

Education:

• Must be a High School Diploma or University pass out in Electrical /Electronic or equivalent field.
• The Maintenance Technician must have completed a Certificate of Qualification in a related field and able to obtain and maintain a valid fork lift, aerial work platform, and crane and hoist certificate.

Travel:
      Commutation to nearby company facilities is required for repair or maintenance work.
