Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering/manufacturing engineering/ mechatronic engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working under supervision of a mechanical or industrial engineer in a production setting OR prior experience as a manufacturing Engineer
  • Proficient with SOLIDWORKS / AutoCAD software
  • Practical knowledge of process related standards i.e. ASTM, ISO
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering design and applied technologies
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Prior work experience in industrial robotics and CNC machining
  • Highly proficient in automation, CNC production tactics, and other manufacturing processes
  • Effective communication and reporting skills for meetings with management to keep them informed of important project developments

Ability to initiate Engineering Changes to improve product manufacturing processes and/or documentation; provide advice and analysis on process efficiencies; develop and source new technology/automation, equipment, machining methods, tooling and tooling concepts; evaluate and review cost effectiveness of new technology/automation, equipment, machining methods, tooling and tooling concepts; ensure value in the manufacturing processes.

Ability to manage internal and external customer(s) and/or supplier(s) relationship(s) involving a range of products and services; provides operational advice in assigned area and identifies new approaches. Supervises assigned team’s output, including assigning work and providing input on performance issues and team concerns; accountable for tracking and reporting on assigned budget
