Engineering Designer I

Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrated proficiency in Pro/Engineering modeling and creating drawings preferred; proficient in calculating design parameters; experience in applying industry generic or specific codes and standards preferred; experience with Manufacturing Processes including Injection molding preferred; experience with FEA tools a plus, but not required.

• Must have intermediate skills with Pro/Engineer (Wildfire) and FEA (static, dynamics, and thermal) to conduct a wide variety of tasks in the creation/production of new designs, prototypes, and/or fixturing and tooling.
• The Engineering Designer will play a support role in working with manufacturing and engineering teams to provide cost effective solutions to performance problems.

Education:

• Must have a post-secondary education in a Mechanical Engineering; minimum of three (3) years’ experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
