Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering OR (7+ years) related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in embedded C programming, RTOs, IDE tools, and debugging tools such as JTAG.
  • Experience with microcontrollers and low-level hardware interfaces, e.g. SPI and I2C, working with standard peripherals such Flash, RAM, ADCs, EEPROM etc.
  • Experience using and understanding of communications systems such as serial, Ethernet, CAN, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 802.15.4 etc.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout for embedded systems design
  • Experience with power electronics and signal processing design
  • Understand electronic principles, control theory, and their application
  • Extensive Linux experience
  • Experience with the Git version control system.
  • Skilled in usage of test equipment; oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, etc.
  • Strong communication skills (interpersonal and written) and organizational skills with a proven ability to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced multi-disciplined environment
  • Excellent technical, analytical, problem-solving skills, with strong attention to details

Great to Haves:

  • Working Experience with Python, C++, QT
  • Working experience on circuit simulation (PSICE, LTspice, etc)
  • Design experience for EMC compliance
  • Working experience with regulatory bodies to ensure that products pass testing for relevant certifications. E.g UL/FCC/CE
