To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and accept responsibility for the accuracy of the work completed. The incumbent of this role has a High School Diploma with six (6) months of electronic/electrical assembly experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and good manual dexterity is required. The incumbent must be capable of reading and interpreting documents such as safety policy and procedures, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. A mechanical aptitude, ability to apply common sense and problem solve involving several concrete variables in standardized situations is required. 

Other required level of technical and/or practical judgment to perform the work : 

Ability to read/interpret blueprints and job instruction sheets; ability to work well on own; and must possess electronic/mechanical component identification skills as well as the ability to operate assorted small hand tools;  

Effort and Work Environment 

In this role, the employee will need a strong mechanical ability and high degree of manual dexterity. The work is done in cramped or uncomfortable positions (back rotation, flexion and crouching) with little opportunity to move about. 

While performing the duties of this position, the individual will be in contact with manual machinery, tools and equipment. There may be exposure to fumes or airborne particles; noise level is low to moderate; safety boots and eye/ear protection are required; the working area is climate controlled.
