Position Summary:

The Sales Coordinator will be located at our Atlanta, Georgia facility is responsible for supporting sales, ensuring order satisfaction, coordinating with other departments, handling administrative duties and promoting customer satisfaction..

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales order review and order entry into E1.  Must have full understanding of the order process, status, and procedures.
  • Confirming that customer purchase orders have accurate information and communicating with them if they are not correct.  Also making sure that the correct customer account # is supplied to Data Entry. 
  • Communication with A/R to set up new accounts.
  • Cancellations and revisions of orders.
  • Credit memos, including researching incorrect shipments or order errors and resolving the issues with customers.
  • Send quotes to customers.
  • Communication with others in Sales, Engineering, Accounting and Manufacturing in order to handle customer issues efficiently.
  • Work for Sales on customer follow up and customer service
  • Take orders from customers
  • Answer customer delivery questions
  • Liaison between sales and production
  • Review and send international documents to customers
  • Produce and maintain a consistent quality of work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills and Experience:

  • 2 to 4 years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Math Skills – basic math skills required, advanced preferred; general computer skills; knowledge and understanding of various measuring devices.
  • Problem Solving – identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations.
  • Written communication – must be able to complete required paperwork and provide information needed by subsequent shift workers, coworkers and supervisors.
  • Reading – read and understand written instructions, blueprints, job travelers, etc.
  • Listening – understand and retain oral job-related information and instructions received from coworkers and supervisors.  Listen for alarms and monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Seeing – visually monitor machine to ensure proper mechanics are maintained and identify problems; specifically paying attention to detail.
  • Equipment – load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using forklift; use of overhead crane; maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.  Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Use of Salesforce, Visual Manufacturing, E1, Excel and Word.
