Plant Manager

Minimum Requirements:

• A strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge and practice base
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacturing
• Ability to provide clear communication by maintaining open and fair communication with other departments, leaders, and employees
• Ability to determine causes of operating errors
• A solid understanding of the financial impacts of operational actions
• Must have proven working experience as a manager
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment
• A demonstrated track record of effectiveness and team building

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:

• College education; BS degree in Business Management or Engineering
• Masters or MBA degree preferred
• 8 plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven upward progression and increased responsibility
• A strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge and practice base
• Previous manufacturing experience is required (machine shop experience a must)
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• General computer knowledge
• ERP System knowledge and exposure (such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, etc.)
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources)
