Position Summary:

 

As the Talent Management & Organizational Development Advisor at Hillenbrand, you’ll be responsible for developing and deploying in-house programs that drive our organizational performance, including enterprise talent reviews, succession planning, organizational change management, success profiles and role assessment centers, and performance management programs. Your experience and strategic expertise around talent management program design, strategic workforce planning, and transformational change management will help our global organization achieve our goals.

 

You’ll start by establishing success profiles for identified critical roles across the enterprise to help you manage and develop pipeline approaches that will help us fill these critical roles. You’ll also manage the existing Performance Management approach for onboarding a recently acquired business. This is a dynamic, forward-thinking role where your leadership and contribution will impact Hillenbrand’s learning, leadership development, employee experience, and diversity & inclusion.

Responsibilities also include the following:

  • Developing and maintaining key relations which may including business leaders, managers, functional leaders, human resources employees, industry contacts, and employees including high potentials.
  • Partnering with HR Business Advisors to develop a strategic workforce plan and related mid- and near-term people actions to support the plan.
  • Consulting on change management plans for identified organizational and/or enterprise process changes for business acquisitions focused on stakeholder management and people drivers of change.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a strategic role developing and deploying enterprise talent reviews, succession planning, organizational change management and performance management programs.

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Human Resources, Industrial and Organization Psychology, Learning/Training & Development or similar related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience developing and running complex, large scale projects and programs

  • Strong business acumen and communication skills
