As a Senior Payroll Analyst at Hillenbrand, you’ll manage multi-state payroll workflow for our U.S. businesses, ensuring all transactions for our businesses in the U.S. are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with all federal, state, local payroll and regulatory requirements. 

You’ll take ownership of our payroll process, recordkeeping, and reporting, and help us develop creative solutions for making our workflow more effective and efficient. It’s a dynamic and complex role where your career can have global growth potential.

Responsibilities also include the following:
  • Maintaining data integrity of the ADP Vantage payroll engine
  • Uploading and processing data for e-time, tax, deposit, garnishments and benefits
  • Reconciling payroll and validating report data prior to payroll transmission
  • Assisting in year-end payroll and W-2 process


Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ of multi-state payroll experience
  • Minimum 1 year of ADP managed payroll required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with e-Time preferred
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) highly preferred
  • A broad knowledge of payroll related federal and state regulations
  • Demonstrated experience making payroll process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Strong analytical skills and high-level proficiency in MS Excel
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent payroll experience required
