Position Summary

The Senior Director of Corporate Finance is responsible for providing financial leadership at the corporate level, leading the reporting and analysis of operating results, driving the planning and forecasting process and assisting executive management in the development of strategic plans for the enterprise. This role works closely with operating company finance leadership and segment leaders to provide analysis on actual results, develops forecasts and action plans to achieve financial targets, and provides financial analysis and decision support to the executive management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct the work of a financial planning and analysis department to develop, continuously improve and effectively manage global financial planning and analysis systems and processes:

o Establishing annual financial goals for both the enterprise and its individual operating units; monitoring ongoing performance against these objectives; identification of incipient problems, and initiation of appropriate corrective action

o Managing, improving and consulting on regular forecasting and reporting processes, i.e quarterly forecasting process, monthly analysis/reporting, and annual budgeting.

o Collaborate with other departments to manage and improve enterprise financial systems

o Analyzing actual performance, trends, competitive benchmarking, and modeling to develop insights into enterprise and operating company performance

o Developing an effectively communicating recommendations on appropriate financial metrics and goals

• Actively contribute to the development of goals and strategies of the financial planning and analysis sub-function and the enterprise, including financial implications of strategic considerations and developing strategic ideas in support of organic and inorganic growth targets.

• Proactively and effectively partner with various stakeholders across the enterprise

o Advise operating company finance partners on future operating performance, maintaining and improving financial flexibility, and enhancing the overall financial position of the operating company and the enterprise.

o Collaborate effectively with all corporate stakeholders including Investor Relations, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR and IT to ensure that corporate information and support needs are consistently met.

• Develop, manage and collaborate on enterprise governance processes and reporting:

o Managing the Board of Directors meetings process

o Creating and providing required materials to Board of Directors meetings

o Creating and providing materials for investor presentations

• Direct, lead and/or collaborate on enterprise level strategic projects including, but not limited to, mergers and acquisitions, system and process enhancements, etc.

• Effectively develop and manage a team of employees


Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance to the Company policies, the Code of Ethical Business Conduct and applicable laws.


Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in accounting or finance; and a minimum of 15 years related experience in a global company with significant international experience in various aspects of finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


MBA or CPA preferred.


Skills/Experience

• 10 years of progressive experience across corporate and business finance roles, including 5+ years in senior management position

• Demonstrated management and leadership skills including ability to implement strategic plans required

• Demonstrated experience with Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) projects that involved financial due diligence, synergy tracking and/or post-merger integration preferred

• Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as experience interacting with executive management and other key constituents required

• Excellent financial modeling, project management and strategic thinking skills required

• Strong work ethic and ability to foster working relationships throughout the organization at all levels required

• Industrial manufacturing experience preferred

• Expert Microsoft Office skills and Hyperion (HFM) experience strongly preferred


Travel

Employee must be able to travel up to 15 – 20%
