Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field or combination of Education and related experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role in the metal cutting industry.
  • Background working with Lathes, Drills, Mills, Grinders, Heat Treat, Chrome Plating and Welding equipment.
  • Experience working with an ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with root cause quality issues that surface in a product manufacturing operation.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced product-manufacturing environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of CAD/CAM, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Ability to understand quality control principles.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to follow all safety guidelines.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to crouch. The employee may occasionally lift items as heavy as 25lbs. Specific vision abilities may include the employee’s ability to see near and far distances.
