Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position will have up to 5 to 6 direct reports. 


Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Licensed Customs Broker desired 
  • Demonstrated continued compliance education
  • Minimum 10 years’ trade compliance experience
  • CBP and other government agency routine interaction
  • Results thru a global matrixed organization
  • USA, Canada, Mexico, EU, Asia, India, S. America trade compliance knowledge
  • NAFTA experience required
  • Compliance platform selection and implementation
  • Trade compliance requirement communication (internal & external), training and best practices implementation
  • Strong cross functional problem-solving skills
  • Exhibits superior time management skills measured by deadlines and quality of progress and projects complete

 

Great to Haves:

  • Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met
  • Ability to perform and interpret computer and RF functions
  • Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Expert computer skills

 

Travel:

  • Employee must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
