REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Engineering degree (BSME, BSEE, BSChE, or BSCE), Milling Science, or similar
2 - 7 years experience with material handling applications
TECHNICAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Understand dry bulk solid material properties such as flowability and filtration
Familiar with related equipment and systems (feeders, pneumatic & mechanical conveyors, flow aids, processing equipment, mixing & blending, unloading and loading devices, bulk storage, size reduction, dust collection, etc.)
Understand pneumatic conveying techniques and methods of sizing blowers and fans
Familiar with customers processes such as baking, milling, compounding, extrusion, resin and chemical production, mixing, and weighing
Working knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and limitations including welding practices and surface finishes
Knowledge of process control fundamentals
Ability to understand and apply national design and safety codes
Interpersonal skills requiring courtesy, tact and cooperation necessary to communicate and work with coworkers, customers, manufacturers representatives, vendors, callers and visitors.
Must be able to concentrate and pay close attention to detail, and have good skills in planning, coordinating, and organizing.
Verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual Spanish speaking is preferred.

Ability to make technical presentations to all levels of customer management/technical staff

Maintain neat, orderly, and hazard free work area
Lift no more than 75 lbs
Understand and observe all customer safety rules when on customer sites
