Process Support Engineer

Requirements

• B.S degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Preferred 3-5 years or greater experience with industrial machinery in the plastics processing area. Prior process engineering experience is a plus is preferred.

Desired Skills:

• Good communication skills and mechanical intuition are essential.

• The ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering reports, drawings, office procedures, and OM manuals is required.

• The ability to write clear, concise routine correspondence as well as comprehensive documents (trip reports, recommendations, studies, service agreements, studies, proposals).

• The ability to work independently

Other Considerations (e.g., safety hazards, working hours other than normal business hours, travel etc.):

• Must work and travel in excess of normal business hours as required by his/her duties

• Must communicate with customers and colleagues by phone at night and on weekends as required

• When working in processing tests or in the field, the Field Process Technology Engineer may be exposed to safety hazards.
