Milacron is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst - FP&A to join our team in Batavia, Ohio. You will provide financial consulting and strategic support to management including preparing financial presentations, standard monthly financial analysis & reporting and other projects requested by management.  Requires the ability to work successfully with individuals at all levels within the organization to report, monitor, and manage key financial and non-financial performance indicators.  The Sr. Financial Analyst - FP&A will provide and recommend financial and analytical decision-making support for annual plans, quarterly, and long-range forecasts, quarterly external reporting requirements and other items as required

What you’ll do:

  • Prepares and analyzes consolidated reporting of actual results against the plan, recent forecast, and prior fiscal year; Analyzes actual results to identify key financial and operating issues that need to be addressed and provide recommendations and solutions. 
  • Supports, analyzes, and participates in the preparation and review of the annual plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic forecast.
  • Owns the plan and forecast files and is responsible for consolidating the operating company and functional cost center submissions.  Is also responsible for maintaining and distributing clear and accurate plan/forecast templates for use by functional leadership and regional leaders.
  • Provides detailed support and analysis of the operating companies’ P&L’s including cost center budgets.
  • Provides detailed support and analysis of the operating companies’ balance sheet and cash flow, and cash conversion cycle forecasts and actual results.
  • Develops presentations to summarize plan/forecast results vs. prior year results and long-term growth expectations.
  • Accumulates, analyzes, and prepares materials in support of the earnings call and the related presentations as well as other support needed for quarterly external filings and reports.
  • Develop and lead business process improvements by partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Provides ongoing analysis of the operating companies’ performance versus our peers as well as trends in the industries.
  • Assists in managing corporate required deliverables around plan, forecast and quarter-end reporting
  • May provide guidance to lower-level associates and other members of the global finance team.
  • Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

Your skills and experience should include:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of related financial experience including advanced financial analysis.
  • Experience working in a global business environment in the industrial equipment industry preferred.
  • Experience with financial systems; Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Hyperion Financial Planning and / or OneStream strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel skills required.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, JD Edwards is preferred.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools; Power BI preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of accounting principles and financial statements is required



  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Finance or Accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in the industrial business segment. CPA or MBA preferred.
