For our department Human Resources, we are looking for a qualified and committed Advisor to be based at the global headquarters of our operating company Coperion in Stuttgart in the function of

 

Manager Labor Relations & Law (m/f/d)

 

Your tasks

  • Independent counsel in relation to questions of individual and collective labor law with a strong initial focus on Germany
  • Supporting stakeholders and other functions in conceptual and strategic labor issues 
  • Participation in and management of committees on questions of remuneration and ERA (Entgelt-Rahmen Abkommen)
  • Development and implementation of human resources policies and practices, strategies for action, guidelines and standards
  • Interaction with works councils on labor law issues, including preparation and conclusion of negotiations
  • Legal counsel in connection with transformation and change processes
  • Standardization of labor law related processes and implementation of internal training courses
  • Pro-active and regular interaction acting as interface to the Hillenbrand Legal department in Germany and globally
  • Active involvement in global HR projects
Your profile
 
  • Completed university studies in law with above-average completion of the 1st and 2nd state of examinations in Germany
  • Well-founded, several years of professional experience in a comparable function, an international law firm or management consultancy
  • Very good knowledge of collective and individual labor law, in particular works constitution law
  • Proven experience in working with works councils 
  • Knowledge of collective agreements in the metal and electricial industry desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and confident demeanor 
  • Confident handling of MS Office a must 
  • Business fluency in English and German, capable of writing bi-lingual documents
  • Experince with international companies, preferably working with a US parent company
  • Team player with high coordination and communication skills and willingness for interdisciplinary, constructive cooperation
