Position Summary

Maintenance Technician II is responsible for managing the Maintenance Technicians and the overall effectiveness of computerized equipment maintenance and lost cycles improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  •  Determine, develop and execute technical projects (electronic and programming) to be complete, along with developing specifications required for completion.
  • Schedule technical projects to avoid production interruptions and assign tasks for completion of projects.
  • Review technical drawings and other reference materials to select and recommend new supplies and maintenance methods to improve plant operations.
  • Confer and assist contractors to resolve problems with the installation of new equipment.
  • Review inspection and repair reports and observe progress of work on unplanned downtime and planned major overhauls to evaluate efficiency and work quality.
  • Resource planning including project/work order materials availability, PPE, and work permits.
  • Policy deployment, root cause, countermeasure analysis.
  • Interaction and coordination with quality, production and engineering to plan preventive maintenance programs/work orders and to schedule inspections and major overhauls.
  • Troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
  • Generating and implementing continuous improvement activities.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Employee must be able to travel <5% of the time.


  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree or vocational certificate from an applicable accredited program
Required/Preferred Skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills required
  • Troubleshooting required
Required/Preferred Experience:
  • Allen Bradley PLC Experience Required
  • Experience in Robotic Programming Required
  • Trouble Shooting Experience
  • Supervisory Experience Preferred
